When I write that I called a company and got a refund, that is what happened to me, on that day, with that representative, under the policies in effect at the time. It is not a promise that the same thing will happen for you.
Two people can call the same company an hour apart and get opposite answers. Policies change without notice. Account history, location, and how long you have been a customer all affect what a company will do. How you handle your own situation is entirely your call.
Companies I name
Where I name a company, I am describing a documented interaction I had with them. Statements about what a company did are accounts of my own experience. Statements about whether that was reasonable are my opinion, and I try to make the difference obvious.
Company names and trademarks belong to their owners. Mentioning a company does not imply any relationship with, endorsement by, or affiliation with that company.
If a company believes I have described something inaccurately, contact me with specifics and I will review it.
